Psychology for Soccer Level 1 – Our first ever online qualification

The FA’s first online qualification is aimed at coaches and parents of 7-12 years and is a great way to understand the fundamentals of sports psychology.

Launched in January the course now has over 700 enrolled students enjoying the new style of learning as well the additional benefits as part of the £57 course fee:

Soccer Star – The original free online coaching resource

Soccer Star now has over 15,000 registered coaches from over 120 countries using the programme.

The Programme consists of practices and games to learn the essential soccer techniques, together with six simple, reliable and valid tests. Designed for coaches and teachers of children aged 6-16, Soccer Star Tests are fun and engaging and challenging with a clear message throughout, that the game should be inclusive and fun and kids are able to challenge their friends and parents.

Soccer Parent – A free course for Parents

Soccer Parent is designed with coaches and parents in mind to provide guidance on specific areas that focus on the key issues involved when a child joins a football team. As well as being designed to be informative, fun and engaging, one of the key aspects of the course is that coaches are given advice to assist in gaining positive contributions from parents as well as understanding issues on specific areas such as child welfare and attitudes.
