We fully support the sentiments behind FIFA's announcement on racist behaviour. The FA has already put regulations in place to tackle this issue both on and off the pitch.

Within those regulations we have sanctions available to enable us to deal with the issue, including the option of points deduction in extreme cases.

The FA has undertaken a number of initiatives to tackle this issue and has supported the Kick It Out campaign since its inception in 1993.

We are committed to ensuring that people of all races, religions and backgrounds are able to participate in and enjoy football free of discrimination or prejudice.
