The festival is is in its seventh year and has already established itself as the largest football festival of its kind in Europe.

It started out to showcase Asian football in the UK but has grown into a multinational event with people from all faiths and backgrounds united on the football field.

Teams from all over UK and Europe take part with teams from Africa having played in recent years, and is supported by both the Manchester and Liverpool FA's.

Brian Barwick, The FA's Chief Executive has added his support. "The FA fully supports the OneCulture festival and recognises the important role it plays in making the sport accessible to everyone.

"At The FA we strive to ensure that everyone has a chance to be involved in football, regardless of ability, race, religion or gender.

"We wish every success to the organisers and hope it will continue to grow in the coming years."

This year the festival will continue to develop the womens side of the game as helped by the England Women's team last year who encouraged women from ethnic minorities to take up the game, including a taster day for Muslim women prior to the Women's World Cup qualifier against France in Blackburn on 26 March.

A whole day of the festival is dedicated to helping more women from all backgrounds to start playing, coaching and generally getting into football as a sport.

The "OneCulture" festival will also include coaching from Premier League sides, scouts looking for new talent and a new under 8s tournament alongside the under 12s tournament.
