At a Regulatory Commission hearing today, former Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd was given a suspended one-match touchline ban.

Boothroyd admitted a charge of improper conduct relating to his touchline behaviour during Watford's game against Reading on 20 September. He was sent from the touchline for his behaviour towards the match referee during the second half following the award of a throw-in.

The suspended ban will be activated should Boothroyd be found guilty of a similar offence before 31 May 2009.
