At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Tottenham Hotspur FC were warned as to their future conduct and fined £8,000, of which £4,000 is suspended for 12 months.

Middlesbrough FC were warned and were fined £4,000, of which £2,000 are suspended for the same period.

The clubs both denied charges of failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

The charges related to a mass confrontation in the 86th minute of the match at White Hart Lane on 5 December 2006.
