The charge relates to an incident involving Morgan and Arsenal's Robin Van Persie during the match at Bramall Lane on Saturday 30 December.

Referee Lee Mason has confirmed that he did not see the incident.

Morgan has until 6pm on Thursday 4 January to admit or deny the charge. A Disciplinary Commission will consider the case on Friday 5 January.
