Braintree found guilty

At a Disciplinary Commission hearing yesterday, Braintree Town were found guilty of failing to control their players.
The club were fined £2000 and reprimanded. Chelmsford City admitted a similar charge and were fined £1500 and also reprimanded.
The charges relate to the Essex Senior County Cup match at Chelmsford on 30 January 2006 which was abandoned following a mass confrontation between the two teams.
Chelmsford manager Craig Edwards and Braintree player Robbie Martin were both found guilty of violent conduct.
Edwards received a four match touchline ban which commences from 3 April, he also received a £350 fine. Martin was given a three match ban, also commencing from 3 April and a £100 fine .
Chelmsford's player Michael Haswell was found not guilty of violent conduct.
