Newcastle United v Aston Villa
Premier League
St. James' Park
02 April 2005

At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Newcastle United's Lee Bowyer has received a further three-match suspension and a £30,000 fine.

Bowyer had admitted a breach of FA Rule E3 for violent conduct relating to an incident involving Kieron Dyer during the match against Aston Villa on Saturday 2 April.

Both players were sent off for violent conduct, and Bowyer received a four-match suspension for the dismissal as it was his second of the season.

Section A, paragraph 7(i) of The FA's Disciplinary Procedures allows a charge to be brought under Rule E3 for an incident where a player was dismissed and is subject to an automatic suspension.
