Alan Combe has been fined £500 and given an extra two-match ban.
Combe decision
Friday, 27 February 2004.
At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, Bradford City goalkeeper Alan Combe was fined £500 and given an extra two-match ban.
This ban is in addition to the three-match ban he received for his sending-off during the match with Gillingham on 31 January 2004.
Combe was charged with improper conduct (breach of FA Rule E1) and violent behaviour (breach of FA Rule E2) following a confrontation with the referee and a tunnel incident at half-time.
Combe has been given one extra match ban due to the serious nature of his sending off, and the other extra match and the £500 fine in relation to his conduct during the tunnel incident.
He will serve the third match of his suspension tomorrow, so will miss another two matches after this weekend.
