Bellamy responds to charge

TheFA.com can confirm that Newcastle United's Craig Bellamy, who was charged with a breach of FA Rule E2 for abusive and/or insulting words to a match official after the Middlesbrough v Newcastle United match earlier this month, has responded to The FA today.
An FA spokesman said: "We have received Bellamy's response and he has admitted the charge and requested a personal hearing."
A date for the hearing is yet to be set.
