TheFA.com can confirm that following Jason Roberts' appeal against his sending off in West Brom's Premier League match at Manchester City on the 1st February, the Video Advisory Panel has stated that, in their view, it was not a case of wrongful dismissal and the red card received still stands.

Roberts' three-match suspension will begin on 15th February 2003.
