Boateng & Byrne appeals

One claim upheld and one rejected.
At an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, a claim for wrongful dismissal from Hull City midfielder George Boateng was upheld.
As a result, Boateng’s three match suspension has been withdrawn. Boateng was shown a red card for violent conduct during Hull’s match against Blackburn Rovers on 10 February.
A wrongful dismissal claim from Scunthorpe United’s Cliff Byrne was rejected and he will serve a two match suspension. Byrne was sent off in Scunthorpe’s match against West Bromwich Albion on 9 February.
