League One side sanctioned for fielding ineligible player.
At an Independent Regulatory Commission today, The FA have fined Hartlepool FC for fielding an ineligible player.
Having accepted the charge and requested a personal hearing the Commission took into consideration the club's previous record in warning the club as to its future conduct and fining them £3,500.
Meanwhile, Hartlepool FC player Gary Liddle was warned as to his future conduct and suspended for one match from 20 May 2010.
