Rio Ferdinand withdraws his appeal against Independent Regulatory Commission.
The FA can confirm that an application by Manchester United to withdraw an appeal by Rio Ferdinand has been accepted by the Appeal Board Chairman.
Ferdinand had appealed against the decision of an Independent Regulatory Commission on 28 January at which he was given a four match suspension in relation to an incident in Manchester United’s match with Hull City on Saturday 23 January.
