The FA Vase was at the Testwood Park stadium ahead of Saturday’s match and fans were given the opportunity to have a free photograph taken with the trophy and then have them posted on TheFA.com.

Representatives from The FA’s Customer Relations team were on-hand to answer any football-related questions from the Stags and Magpies with Wembley predictably being the hot topic of the day.

Fans were also invited to take part in a free prize draw to win four tickets with hospitality to the Final of this year’s competition.

Supporters of both competing clubs became part of The FA Vase history by sharing their football thoughts in The FA Vase fans diary. The diary has travelled the country with The Vase and features football tales from fans across England.

With Totton having lost 3-0 earlier in the season at home to Wimborne, a nail-biting game was inevitable and eventually Totton went on to see off their local rivals thanks to a 2-1 victory after extra-time.

They will now meet Billingham Synthonia in the Semi-Finals.

The FA would like to thank all the staff and fans at AFC Totton for making us feel so welcome and contributing to the success of The FA Vase Roadshow.
