Online Research Resource
By Alex Howells.
In line with the start of the new academic year, The FA’s Customer Relations Unit has today launched a comprehensive online research resource for students for the 2006/07 season.
The Customer Relations Unit dealt with in excess of 200 000 queries from the general public in 2005 – many of which included information requests from students and researchers. As a result the resource was pulled together with every effort made to include as much information as possible on the role of The Football Association.
The resource contains a bibliography with links and references to numerous other sources of information and complements the wealth of content available on TheFA.com.
The FA currently works alongside a number of universities and other educational bodies. Contact details for these institutions are published alongside the resource.
Every effort has been made to include as much information as possible. However, the huge scope of The FA’s work means there will be inevitable omissions. The resource will be updated on a yearly basis and should we receive frequent requests concerning a particular topic, its future inclusion will be taken into consideration.
If you know of or have recently discovered a useful source of football related information that you would like to share with fellow students or researchers please contact our Customer Relations Unit on 020 7745 4545 or via our Contact Us form available here.
Please note that unfortunately given the sheer volume of requests The FA receives members of staff are not in a position to respond to individual questionnaires or interview requests from students.
