England have qualified for the 2006 World Cup.
Friday, 28 October 2005.
World Cup tickets allocated to The Football Association will only be sold to members of the Official England Supporters Club, englandfans+.
This membership has been advertised in every England home match programme of the qualifying campaign and also on perimeter boards at all FA matches.
Membership was capped at 25,000 to allow members a more realistic chance of acquiring tickets. No further applications will be accepted as this limit has now been reached.
Tickets will be sold to members on a match-by-match basis with the loyalty system being used in each instance. 70% of available tickets will be allocated to the highest “Cap” holders who apply, with the remaining 30% allocated via a ballot system.
There will be a choice of online applications or via the postal system but if you have access to the internet, you are strongly advised to use the online system to speed up your application.
In the event that tickets still remain after all englandfans+ members have applied, tickets will only be allocated to the second tier of englandfans membership.
Disabled Fans
The Football Association will receive a limited number of tickets for disabled supporters; again these will only be sold to those people who are already members of englandfans+. We shall communicate directly with all our disabled members as soon as we receive details of allocation.
Tickets for Non-Members
If you are not a member of englandfans+, the alternative route for tickets to matches in Germany is via the FIFA sale.
The dates of these sales are 12 December 2005 to 15 January 2006 and 15 February 2006 to 15 April 2006. For further information, supporters should visit the dedicated FIFA website at FIFAWorldCup.com
Please note that FIFA have a new technology system for the World Cup which will allow them to cancel tickets they deem to have been bought via the black market. You are best advised to use only recognised sources for your tickets.
