Complete Football has just been officially ‘Accredited’ by The Football Association, with the award of the Small Sided Football Accreditation.
The North East based football provider was established in 2007 and operates out of its development centre in the heart of Newcastle. Complete Football not only delivers small sided football to this part of the country but also is a hub centre for grassroots football development with close links with local grassroots clubs, Newcastle United Foundation and also Tyne Metropolitan College.
Only two other providers within small sided football have earned this distinguished hallmark of excellence. To attain the accreditation Complete Football have undergone a rigorous external review, at which they have demonstrated a commitment to raising quality in five standards relating to facilities, operating policies and procedures, communication and customer service, staffing and personnel development and safeguarding and equity as well as a commitment to continuous improvement. This will not only benefit Small Sided Football organisations, but will also help to raise the quality of the football experience and provision for the customer (i.e. the grassroots football player).
Complete Football have had to prove the high quality of their Small Sided Football operations to The FA through an extensive assessment and quality assurance process, in which all elements of Complete Football’s business were examined and scrutinised.
“It takes a great deal of self-evaluation and determination to earn The FA Small Sided Football Accreditation, applicants must not only meet specific standards of excellence, but their management and staff must make a commitment to on-going improvement to ensure a continued delivery of high-quality small sided football to their customers,” said Simon Walker, FA National Manager for Adult Grassroots Football
“We are delighted to receive this award from The FA. It is a fantastic way to further enhance our commitment to all of our customers and players. Every employee has paid a part and they are a real credit to our Organisation. Continuing our fantastic partnership with the Local and National FA will only enable us to develop and support the Grassroots game for future years," added Andrew Lau, General Manager of Complete Football.
The FA Small Sided Football Accreditation has been aligned to other industry leading quality assurance kitemarks. This helps to ensure that the Accreditation is fit-for-purpose and not only meets the football aspects but also the business elements in operating Small Sided Football provision.
