FA National Futsal League teams now face Super League stage before the Grand Finals

With the end of The FA National Futsal League season now upon us, the drama, thrills and spills of Futsal move onto a new stage.

Teams will now compete in a new Super League format to win a passage to The FA National Futsal League Grand Finals later this year.

The Super League format has been introduced this season to provide teams in the National League with a continued level of competition to compete for the right to be crowned National champions.

Twelve teams from the North, Midlands and South National Leagues will compete in four groups of three teams during April and May.

The teams who have qualified for the inaugural Super League are Team Bath, Oxford Lions, Loughborough Students and Team Birmingham from the Midlands, Helvecia, Baku United, FC Baltic and London United from the South and Sheffield, Manchester, Middlesbrough and CYDC Leeds making up the Northern contingent

Following the Super League, the winning teams of each group will then go to The FA National Futsal League Grand Finals to compete for the right to be crowned National champions and to represent England in the UEFA Futsal Cup.

An entertaining and exciting few months lies ahead for Futsal in England so to keep up to speed then follow the results of The FA National Futsal League Super League by clicking here.
