Men's Youth Player of the Year (Voted for by Club England Coaches)
Nathaniel Chalobah, Watford (loan from Chelsea)
Runner-up: Will Hughes (Derby County)
Third Place: John Lundstram (Everton)
Nathaniel Chalobah has been named as the England Men’s Youth Player of the Year at St. George’s Park following his performances with the U19s and Under-21s in 2012.
The Chelsea starlet, currently on loan with Watford, was voted for by Club England Coaches.
He has been a regular for England at numerous levels since making his debut for the U16s in 2008. He has gone on to collect over 50 caps since then at U17, U19 and Under-21 level and also picked up a European Championship title with the U17s in 2010.
2012 saw Chalobah help England U19s reach the semi-final of the Euros in Estonia, scoring a stunning goal against Croatia in the group stages. He has since moved into Stuart Pearce’s Under-21 squad and made his debut against Northern Ireland last November.
