Adam Lallana, Rob Sissons, Mitchell Hanson and Adam Watts have been drafted into the England Under-18 squad to face Slovenia at Bournemouth on Bank Holiday Monday.

The quartet come into the squad for Scott Golbourne, Mark Little and Ishmel Demontagnac.

For 17 year old Lallana, who starred in Southampton's FA Youth Cup semi-final penalty shoot-out defeat to Liverpool, it's a dream come true.

"At the moment I am absolutely ecstatic," said the teenage star.

"After last year I thought I had missed my chance because as the international squads get older it can become that much harder to force your way in.

"To be honest though, although I hadn't talked about it much this match had been on my mind. With it being back in Bournemouth, and things going well for me in the past couple of weeks I was hoping that something might turn up and now it has I just want to make the most of it.

"There haven't been many England friendly matches this year but there are European Championship qualifiers next year and the championships themselves so I want to use this to force my way into the reckoning.

"Obviously I don't know how much I will be involved yet but with my family and friends being in Bournemouth it would be great to get a look in. Whatever happens though it has been a great few weeks for me and hopefully this can top it off."

Lallana had been on stand-by but a string of fine performances prompted head coach Brian Eastick to include the Southampton starlet.
