OOH Lincoln Ladies kept up their promotion chase on Sunday, with a convincing 4-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.
Rod Wilson's team have been one of the country's form teams over the last few months and now look to be going head-to-head with Sunderland in The FA Women's Premier Division Norther League.
The goals of striker Jodie Michalska have been a major source of points for Lincoln and she got them on their way with a fine hat-trick against the Owls.
Her first came just before the break when she was put through on goal and slipped a low finish past the goalkeeper to open the scoring.
She had to wait until just past the hour mark for her second goal when a cross in from the left found her at the far post and she made no mistake by conntrolling the ball and then picking her spot.
Michalska saved the best until last though, when a chipped ball into the left channel picked her out and she smashed home a dipping volley which looped over the goalkeeper and into the far corner.
The scoring was completed in the last minute when Sophie Wallis cut inside from the left flank before firing a right-footer in off the bar.
"I've set myself a target to get 30 for the season and I've managed to get that today," Michalska told TheFA.com after the game.
"It's a fantastic result, we just needed a win to keep the pressure on Sunderland. The results have gone our way today and fingers crossed, Sunderland might slip up again.
"Now we've got confidence so we can see how it goes.
Manager Wilson was also understandably delighted with his team's display, adding: "I'm very happy with the performance.
"I think we have won every game since Christmas and only lost two games this season.
"Sunderland have got games in hand, but they're also in The FA Cup Final. If they lose one more, it will go down to goal difference.
"So the pressure is on their girls now, but all we can do is our bit."
