Blues looking for improvement in this year's FAWSL campaign.
The FA WSL returns for its second season over the Easter weekend and the country’s top eight women’s football clubs are all set for another exciting summer of football which you can see more of on the official website
www.FAWSL.com.
In the build up to the 8 April kick-off, we'll take a look at the eight contenders.
Today
Chelsea are the team we focus on.
Manager Matt Beard was left frustrated by a faltering second half to last season when his side went from title contenders to a sixth-place finish. A busy winter of signings has seen the Blues add a number of internationals including England’s Dunia Susi and Welsh duo Katie Sherwood and Helen Bleazard.
Player to watch: Dunia Susi
Susi returns to Chelsea from Birmingham where she spent last season. She will be looking to maintain the form which saw her force her way in to Hope Powell’s senior set-up.
