The grounds were alive with excitement from early on as teams battled it out in their respective age groups for places in the semi-finals, roared on by vocal parents.

Teams at Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 played some excellent football in matches superbly handled by members of the Berks & Bucks Referees Association and watched by current England International Rachel McArthur and Mr. David Elleray, Chairman ISFA (above).

The semi-final were tense affairs with Marymount School & Bradfield going down to penalties at U18 level while Kings Warwick and St. Mary’s Wantage went out at U16 level; the U14 losing semi finalists were Alice Ottley and St. Mary’s Wantage.

The U14 Final was won by Stamford High School who beat Woodside Park 1-0 in a very tense final between two unbeaten teams. The winners of the U16 Final were Stafford Grammar a 2-1 victory in an epic struggle with Wycombe Abbey.

The U18 National Sixes Champions are Oakham School (left) who reversed a group stage loss to Wycombe Abbey to win the final 2-0 with a display of grit, determination and superb football.

Well done to everyone that took part, teams are looking forward to next year’s event already, with many more teams promising to enter.
