The award was presented to the team’s secretary Leading Physical Trainer, Alex Buck by Regional Manager for London, Martin Preston, during the joint Regional Development meeting held at HMS Temeraire in Portsmouth.

Manager of the team, Warrant Officer, Marco Bartolini was also presented with a FA/McDonalds Commemorative Medal in recognition of their achievement.

Steve Johnson, Football Development Officer for the Royal Navy FA said: “This award recognises good management practices; codes of conduct, insurance and first aid qualifications and HMS Sultan are hopefully the first of many Navy teams how will achieve this award”.
