National Game strategy First Draft - Click Here

Thank you for giving us your feedback during our consultation events in Autumn 2006. We wanted to find out your views and let you have the chance to help us get our 2007-12 National Game Strategy right.

The scope of this Strategy will cover the whole of football played in England beneath the Football League.

Over 17,000 people have now given us their input via regional consultation events, the online questionnaires and an extensive under-16 survey.

The research findings are interesting and give us a real picture of what is needed to further develop the game.

We promised that we would share with you our first draft of the National Game Strategy and you can now view this draft on the attachment below.

We would welcome your thoughts on the first draft of the Strategy - you can submit them by emailing us at yourgameyoursay@TheFA.com before 10 April 2007.

Our next steps are then to present our draft strategy and business plan to The FA National Game Board, which consists of representatives from the game who make policy decisions across grassroots football. Once we have final approval of the Strategy, we plan to announce this internally to all counties and other key stakeholders in the summer and will look to announce the Strategy publicly later in the year.

Thank you for your support to date.
