The Suffolk County Football Association is seeking to recruit a Football Development Officer to implement a football development programme within the West Suffolk area.
The role will encompass the following:-
• Growth and retention – increasing and sustaining player participation.
• Raising standards – creating a safe and positive environment.
• Better players – developing better players with a focus on the 5 -11 age group.
• Running the game – leading and governing the game efficiently.
To apply you need to be of graduate calibre and have extensive experience in sports development, and an understanding of The FA’s National Game Strategy. You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level. You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, be goal oriented, and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to work as an integral member of the football development team, and be able to work on their own initiative.
The ability to communicate at all levels through excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills is essential
You will need a full clean driving license, access to a car, and be able to work evenings and weekends.
Salary is approximately £22,000.
