The Huntingdonshire FA are looking to appoint a Football Development Officer.

The Huntingdonshire Football Association is seeking to recruit a Football Development Officer (Incorporating Womens & Girls FDO) to implement a football development programme. The position reports directly to the County Football Development Manager.
The role will encompass the following:-
• Growth and retention – increasing and sustaining player participation.
• Raising standards – creating a safe and positive environment.
• Better players – developing better players with a focus on 5 -11 age group.
• Running the game – leading and governing the game efficiently.
• Increasing female participation and supporting Club/League development particularly through the School-Club Links programme and The FA Charter Standard Scheme.
• Increasing and supporting female coaches, volunteers, young leaders, tutors and referees.
• Ensuring that talent development is delivered through The FA Centre of Excellence(s)
• Support and develop opportunities for under represented groups, particularly players with disabilities and players from Minority Ethnic Communities
This will involve working strategically with key agencies. For example, County Sports Partnerships, Local Authorities, Local Education Authorities, schools, local leagues and clubs.
Salary £19,000 - £21,000
To apply, you need to be of graduate calibre and have extensive experience in sports development and an understanding of the FA’s National Game Strategy. You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of female football at a local level. You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, be goal oriented, and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to work as an integral member of the football development team, and be able to work on their own initiative. Experience of managing projects/events to demonstrate sound organisation and planning skills is required. Excellent communication, presentation and IT skills will be expected. The ability to communicate at all levels through excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills is essential
You will need a full clean driving license, access to a car, and be able to work evenings and weekends.
