The Gloucestershire FA is seeking to recruit two Football Development Officers with the specific remit of developing Women and Girls' football in Gloucestershire.

These positions report directly to the County Football Development Manager and will support and develop all areas of Women's and Girls’ football in accordance with the County FA Development Plan.

The roles encompass the following areas:

• Increasing female participation and supporting Club/League development particularly through the School-Club Links programme and The FA Charter Standard Scheme

• Increasing and supporting female Coaches, Volunteers, Young Leaders and Tutors

• Ensuring that Talent Development is delivered through The FA Centres of Excellence

• Supporting and developing opportunities for Under Represented Groups, particularly players with Disabilities and players from Minority Ethnic Communities.

This will involve working strategically with key agencies e.g. County Sports Partnerships, Local Authorities, Local Education Authorities, schools, local leagues and clubs.

The successful candidates are likely to be graduates with knowledge and experience of sports development. An understanding of female football structures and pathways, barriers faced by females and knowledge of sports equity is required. You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of female football at a local level.

Candidates must demonstrate both team working skills and the ability to work unsupervised and on their own initiative. Experience of managing projects/events to demonstrate sound organisation and planning skills is required. Excellent communication, presentation and IT skills will be expected.

The roles will be based in Bristol and Gloucester respectively.
