The FA Girls' Centre of Excellence in Hull met with their Premiership heroes.
Players from The FA Girls’ Centre of Excellence in Hull were recently involved in two very special events.First, they visited Hull City's training ground to meet members of the Tigers' first team and a day later they filmed with Kim and Aggie for ‘How Clean Is Your House' in the City Centre.Hull City opened its doors to all four of the Centre's age groups. After observing the 30-minute session, manager Phil Brown led all of his squad across for photographs and autographs with the girls. The players were more than accommodating with several of the Premier League stars asking the players about issues concerning their Centre of Excellence. This proved to be an enjoyable morning for all concerned, with the Centre's girls given the opportunity to meet their favourite players. They also had the opportunity to promote elite level female football to their established male counterparts.Chloe Robinson from the U12 team spoke of her delight in meeting the players."I really enjoyed the day," she beamed. "Meeting Gio [Geovanni] was the biggest thrill, while Nick Barmby asked me questions on the teams we play against and if we enjoyed our football."The following day the girls attended the filming of ‘How Clean Is Your House' in Hull City Centre and were asked to bring the kit they had worn against Middlesbrough just a few days earlier. The show is due to be screened in the summer.
