The Football Association’s annual Fitness and Conditioning Conference will be held on Sunday 13 November at Holywell Park, Loughborough University, with the theme being
Athletic Development in Football - A Point of Change.
The identification and development of young footballers is an important consideration for professional clubs. The focus of this conference is to provide information on the potential future framework for talent identification and development in football in the UK.
This information will be supported by presentations from skilled football related speakers, including Dr John Iga, Nick Broad and Mark Jarvis, who will discuss modern approaches to the physical development of young players. In addition, experts from other sports will complement this sport-specific content by providing some detail on the approaches utilised in their competitions.
It is anticipated that this event will provide delegates with an opportunity to re-examine current processes used in player development and generate ideas for the development and improvement of future strategies.
The cost of attending the conference is £100 which includes lunch and beverages supplied during the intervals.
