Who are they for?
FA Learning organise a number of conferences throughout the year, which cover a range of disciplines and areas of interest.
These events are attended by a wide range of delegates including; the general public, students, research assistants and many others involved in all aspects of the game.
Attending a conference is a great way to find out more about a particular subject, meet the people involved and find out how you can get involved too.
What can I expect?
This will depend on the conference but in most cases they last for a day and have series of speakers and presentations.
Some conferences also have afternoon workshops where the audience splits into smaller groups to discuss different subjects in more detail.
Some venues also offer stadium tours at lunchtime and there may be the chance to buy merchandise from different exhibitors on the day.
Online Conferences
FA Learning understands that it is not always possible for everyone to attend the event or for those who were there to capture all the information on the day, that is why to may be interested to hear about Online Conferences.
This way delegates can access conference presentations from the comfort of your own home.
The Cost Effective Youth Development in the Football League was the first to go live in December 2004 and so far almost 100 delegates have enrolled. If you have never been to an FA Learning conference before than these can provide a great taster for the actual day!
