“It is an honour to be able to share my experience and knowledge of the game and help develop the coaches association and its members," he said.

For only £15 annual membership, coaches can sign up for a comprehensive benefits package which includes four in-service events, exclusive members UMBRO t-shirt, e-mail alerts, job opportunities and discounts at Grassrootscoaching.com.

The Kent County FA's Football Development Officer Lee Suter added: “Andy is a great example of a professional coach who is keen and passionate to support Kent coaches. With his vast experience of the game he is a great addition to the Association.”

To celebrate this great appointment, all Kent FA Coaches Association Members who have signed up by 1 November 2010 will be automatically entered into a free prize draw for the chance to win a football signed by Gillingham Football Club First Team.
