Arsenal have insisted they have no intention of letting Patrick Vieira move to Real Madrid.
Madrid President Florentino Perez has made it clear he wants the French midfielder at the Bernabeu next season.
But Arsenal are adamant he will remain at Highbury.
Perez said: "My policy is to try to sign the best player in the world for every position. Patrick Vieira is, in my opinion, the best in the world in his position."
