England remain third on UEFA's Coefficient List, used to calculate how many teams can enter the competition from each country and at what stage.

This means the Premiership champions and runners-up will still go straight into the group stage while the third and fourth-placed teams begin in the third qualifying round.

With the huge European success enjoyed in Spain over recent season they, unsurprisingly, rest on top of the list, with Italy in the number two slot, whilst Germany are fourth.

The number of teams per country in the UEFA Cup will not be known until December 12 or 13 as the format of the competition is being revamped for next season.
