England Under-21s were out for their first session at their Bemmel training ground on Saturday morning and looked sharp as they prepared for their opening game against the Czech Republic.

Stuart Pearce's squad made the short journey from their Oosterbeek base to Bemmel and after a light warm-up with fitness coach Gary Phillips were taken through drills from Pearce and his coaching team of Nigel Pearson and Steve Wigley.

Meanwhile, Goalkeeping Coach Martin Thomas took the three keepers, Scott Carson, Joe Hart and Ben Alnwick, through their paces with some handling drills.

All members of the squad trained and at the end of the morning, Pearce continued his ritual of penalty practise, just in case they face dreaded shoot-out here in Holland.
