Wenger's 'perfect' summer

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits he is enjoying the "perfect" summer watching Euro 2004 in Portugal.
After the drama of Sunday's match against France, we asked the Gunners supremo who he felt shone brightest in France's 2-1 win.
"For me Zidane was the man of the match, not for the quality of his performance but because he could get the magic out at the right time," the Arsenal manager said.
"Overall I felt Sol Campbell had a very good performance as did Rooney. Nobody in the English team had a disappointing performance, that's why I can understand their frustration.
"On the French side, Vieira was the most imposing player - the one who refused to lose and always had the drive to push his team forward.
Wenger is out in Portugal to watch Euro 2004 and is thoroughly enjoying catching some of Europe's best players in action.
"It is perfect for me. It is a privilege to watch football without being under any pressure and I really feel on holiday," Wenger said.
For a manager who is well-known for his ability to discover new talent, Wenger is certainly keeping an eye open at Euro 2004 but in the England v France match, there was little on offer he didn't already know about.
"I couldn't discover any new talent [in the France match, but] it is instructive to watch games and see how managers react without being involved. It is a fantastic feeling.
