England winger Isobel Christiansen hopes for three more points.
England Women's U19s winger Isobel Christiansen is hoping the her team mates can follow up there victory over Scotland with another three points against Italy on Thursday.
Mo Marley's side kicked off the defence of their UEFA European Championship title in the heat Macedonia with a 3-1 win over the Auld Enemy and are aiming to put one foot into the semis when they take on the Azzurrine at the Milano Arena in Kumanovo.
The 18-year-old Birmingham City player was one of three scorers against the Scots on Monday, with Toni Duggan and Laura Coombs bagging the other two, but she admits that the game was far from easy.
"It was hard work – and it was very hot," she said. "We really had to do some grafting and work as a team. Luckily we got the result and came through together. It was a great win."
"It was a great feeling to score but I'm more bothered about the result," she added.
"Now we can go onto the next game with three points in our pockets and hopefully do the same again."
Thursday's opponents Italy will be looking to bounce back from a 4-1 defeat to Germany in their opening game, but with the Germans on the agenda for Sunday, England will be looking to secure their place in the last four with a game to spare.
"I've never played Italy before but I'm sure we've got a few things to look at while focusing on ourselves and what we can do. If we play well we can get the result.
"We go out to win every game – it's what England is all about."
