England Women’s U19s narrowly lost to Scotland in their opening match of the Ten Nations Tournament in La Manga.
The Scots went ahead in the opening two minutes and doubled their advantage early in the second half.
Melissa Lawley pulled a goal back for Mo Marley’s side but the Young Lions were unable to find an equaliser.
Their next match is against Italy on Friday.
Marley is using this tournament as preparation for April’s Euro qualifiers, where England face Norway, Serbia and Hungary for a place in the Finals in the summer.
