Euro runners-up to face Switzerland, USA and Sweden in La Manga.

Mo Marley’s England Women’s U19 team will warm up for their UEFA European U19 Women’s Second Round Qualifying campaign by travelling to La Manga to take on Switzerland, USA and Sweden in a Ten Nation Tournament.

England made it through to the final Euro qualifying phase by beating Moldova (4-0), Armenia (9-0) and Finland (2-0) in the First Qualifying Round. And now Marley hopes her side can build on those performances – and a 3-1 defeat of reigning European champions France – in La Manga.

The squad is made up of experienced U19 campaigners like Jordan Nobbs, Lucy Staniforth and Drew Spence, but there is room for two new players in the shape of midfielder Callan Barber and forward Paige Eli.

England will face Switzerland on Friday 4 March, USA on Sunday 6 March and Sweden on Tuesday 8 March.
