England Women U19 Head Coach Mo Marley has named her squad for the European Championship Finals in Macedonia later this month, as the girls aim to defend their title following their success in Belarus last year.

Marley's team have been drawn out in Group B, which sees them up against Scotland, Italy and Germany to determine whether or not they will progress to the semi-finals/

England came through the First Qualifying Round by beating Belarus and Slovakia and drawing with Norway in the north-west last September and then finished top of their Elite Qualifying Round in Sweden in March, seeing off opposition from Turkey, Sweden and the Republic Of Ireland to secure their place in the last eight.

Marley's team open their campaign against the Scots in Skopje on 24 May, before facing the Italians three days later. Their final group game is against Germany at the National Arena in Skopje on 30 May.

What Do You Think?

  • I think you are clearly misleading by stating that article was posted on the 1st of May. I have been checking those pages on a regular basis and it seems to have appeared yesterday. Also it seems quite improbable that Mo Marley would have known on that date that a player who flew with the squad on Monday morning , ( her club team plays in blue ) injured herself and got replaced by Sam Chappell as a late call up, isn't it?By toto (35 months ago)
