England Women U19s made the perfect start to their Elite Qualifying Round on Saturday by collecting a 3-0 win against the Republic of Ireland.
It proved to be a comprehensive victory for Mo Marley’s team, who won the U19 European Championship last year, with Toni Duggan opening the scoring after 39 minutes.
Second half strikes from Demi Stokes and Gilly Flaherty added further gloss to the scoreline ahead of their second match against Sweden on Monday evening.
The other result was Sweden 3 Turkey 0.
