Mo Marley is currently preparing her side for their World Cup Quarter-Final showdown against USA and after the dramatic finale to the group stage, she knows there will be no second chances as the competition heats up.

Needing at least a draw to progress in the final group game against New Zealand, England were 1-0 down in the final minute, until Everton forward Toni Duggan popped up to rifle home an effort to send England into the knockout stage.

They will now face a USA side who topped their group and Marley is expecting a tough encounter.

"It'll be a really hard game," Marley insists, "there's no question of that. We played them in February and we know they're a good side. They've got pace and power and a lot of quality, but we've got the ability and character to ask questions of them.

"After the result against New Zealand, everybody's in a good place and everyone's 100 per cent fit and available for selection," she continued. "These players know they're on the big stage - we're in the Quarter-Final of a World Cup and there's no room for error.

"There's been a belief and a confidence in the squad throughout this tournament and everyone's looking forward to the USA game.

"It will provide us with a benchmark as to where we're at on the world stage. It's a tall order for us, but it's a game we're all relishing."
