England powered their way into the semis with a four goal victory over Iceland to secure top spot in Group A.

There were just eleven minutes on the clock when Jade Moore headed England into the lead, timing her run perfectly to meet Michelle Hinnigan's free-kick and put Mo Marley's team into the driving seat.

Just two minutes later and England were firmly in control with a second goal, this time Jordan Nobbs profiting from fine work by Toni Duggan on the left flank to tap home from inside the area.

Iceland worked valiantly to rescue the match, and their place at these finals, but were met with firm resistance from a team on the up.

Two goals in quick succession towards the end of the game made the game safe, Nobbs grabbing her second of the game and Isobel Christiansen also getting on the scoresheet.

Victory assures Marley's team of a place at next year's Women's U20 World Cup in Germany, but more immediately gives them a semi-final with Switzerland on Wednesday.
