England's U19 Women travel to Sardinia next week as they build-up preparation ahead of the UEFA European Women's U19 Championship in July.

Mo Marley's Three Lions were beaten 2-1 in their opening fixture of the La Manga Tournament by Italy back in March. The Italians took a 2-0 half-time lead, but Claire Rafferty pulled a goal back in the 74th minute.

Maren Meinert's Germany will be in the same section as Scotland, Sweden and an England side they edged through in extra time in a tight final last July. They will be happy to have avoided France, against whom they also needed the additional 30 minutes in the knockout stages last year en route to claiming their sixth title.

The hosts have been paired with Spain, Norway and Italy, the latter returning to the finals after a three-year absence. Then, in 2003/04, they progressed to the last four after topping a section that also coincidentally included France and Norway.

The ceremony took place Blois, the headquarters for all four Group A teams and one of seven venues for the finals between 7 and 19 July. The quartet in Group B will be based in Tours, while other matches will take place at Amboise, Avoine, Romorantin, Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire and Vineuil.
