England's 3-1 victory over Scotland keeps them in contention to qualify for the semi final of the UEFA European Women's U19 Championship.

A fourth minute opener from Jordan Nobbs and a brace from Toni Duggan gave England the win and Mo Marley reflected upon an important three points for her side. Speaking to UEFA.com, Marley admitted:

"It's a result that we needed. We knew it was going to be tough and I think that showed in the first half but in the second half we did a little bit better, got some momentum and later on we started to play a little bit.We got what we expected today and fortunately we got the result. We're back on track.

"It was a huge improvement on the first game, in terms of the quality we had on the ball. The players realised at half-time that the quality of passing could have been a bit better but the players are inexperienced and picked it up in the second half.

"We knew we had to win today to stay in the competition and if we want to get to the semi final we're going to have to beat Sweden. That's our philosophy though – we go into every game to try and win regardless of who the opposition is."

England face Sweden in their final group game on 13 July.
