25th-minute goal seals win for Denmark.
Lois Fidler’s England Women’s U17 team were forced to brave the elements in their second international match inside three days.
They were beaten 4-1 by Denmark on Friday afternoon and the Danes again provided the opposition on Sunday.
Unfortunately for England, amid torrential rain and gale force winds, a 25th-minute goal gave the hosts another victory.
The next challenge for Fidler’s young team is the Elite Qualifying Round of the UEFA European Women’s U17 Championship, which takes place next spring.
