Lois Fidler's England Women's U17 team got their European Championship qualifying campaign off to a winning start on Sunday evening, when first half goals from Lucy Gunton-Jones and Paige Williams saw off opposition from Turkey.
Gunton-Jones got the first after 27 minutes before Williams added a second just 11 minutes later and that proved to be enough.
England will now play two more games in Belgium, against Armenia on Tuesday before their final group game against the hosts next Friday. In today's other game, Belgium beat Armenia by 7-0.
