Lois Fidler announces U17s squad for Euros First Qualifying Round.

England Women's U17s Head Coach, Lois Fidler, has announced her 18-woman squad to contest the 2011 European Championship First Qualifying Round matches in October.

Fidler takes her young charges to Belgium next month to face the hosts, Armenia and Turkey in Group 6, with a view to progressing to the second qualifying stage.

First up, on Sunday 3 October, is Turkey, followed by Armenia on 5 October and Belgium on 8 October.

The Young Lions have failed to progress beyond the Second Qualifying Round in the past two seasons and will be aiming to set that record straight as they look to reach the Finals in Switzerland next year.
