Dani Buet has been called up to the England Women’s squad that will face Serbia on Wednesday 23 November.

The Chelsea midfielder, who has recently been on an U23 training camp in Warwickshire, comes in as a replacement for Eniola Aluko.

Aluko will miss the UEFA Euro 2013 qualifier as she has to complete an assessment for her legal studies.

England go into this game, which is being staged at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium, looking to make amends for the 2-2 draw against the Serbs the last time the two nations met, in Belgrade in September.

Hope Powell’s side deservedly went in 2-0 up at the break, but the hosts rallied and Danka Podovac halved the deficit with a well struck free-kick before Vesna Smiljkovic equalised in the fourth minute of added time.

England are second in Group 6, two points behind Holland, but with a home game to come against the Dutch next June.
